There are many collective nouns for a group of sea lions. A herd, a raft, a harem, a bob, but if you’ve observed their acrobatic, lithe, supple pirouetting underwater, the best description for my money is ‘a ballet of sea lions’ They are so perfectly adapted to the underwater environment.
