Diving the barrier reef of Grand Cayman

cobra water mixable oils on textured board

The barrier reef of Grand Cayman wraps around the south east of the island, encircling the village of East End.
The painting shows my wife and dive buddy Maureen emerging from one of the deep ravines that are characteristic of this reef.
These ravines are covered in large plate corals and rope sponges. The depth is about 30 meters.
